The practice of psychopharmacology and medication management is the specialty of the treating psychiatrist. All psychiatrists at PATHS are medical doctors and licensed to practice.
Therapy takes many forms and can be practiced using multiple methods and by multiple disciplines. All PATHS therapists are Clinical Psychologists or Marriage and Family Therapists and are licensed to practice.
Psychological evaluations are a key component in effectively and accurately diagnosing a wide range of mental health issues. PATHS Psychologists are highly proficient in the administration, scoring, interpretation and written report of psychological and forensic evaluations and are licensed to practice.
Both Dr. Benbow and Dr. Rindt offer consultation on complex cases for practicing clinicians in their specialized fields. Case consultation is a standard of care and practice that sets PATHS apart from other treatment providers. Both within PATHS and external to the practice, individual consultation or consultation in the group are offered. All PATHS clinicians receive ongoing consultation in their daily practice. In addition, Dr. Rindt is a certified consultant for the treatment of Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and is able to provide consultation and direct oversight in this area. Dr. Benbow regularly supervises psychiatry residents, and psychology interns, offering in depth clinical training in highly specialized populations. Dr. Rindt is a clinical supervisor for the training of both pre- and post-doctoral psychology interns in the areas of psychotherapy, psychological testing and practice management. She is currently the Director of Psychology at Aurora Behavioral Health Care, where she supervises 13 psychologist in training.
PATHS is committed to ongoing training of their staff, and the community. All PATHS clinicians are able to access continuing education, through the practice, or through our external partners in the community. In addition, Dr. Rindt is accredited to provide certified CE's through MCEP for Psychiatrists, Psychologists, MFTS, LCSW's, and nurses.
